Personal therapy for adults to support transitions and healing

Individual counseling can help you cope with many personal concerns such as mood disorders, life transitions, grief and loss, unresolved hurts, relationship issues, stress and burnout, chronic pain and illness, career changes, etc. I specialize in helping clients address: Peri/menopause Symptoms, Relationship Loss, Out of Control Sexual Behavior (OCSB), Anxiety, and Sexual Wellness.

Through my training and experience I've developed an integrative approach to helping clients. Your unique strengths and abilities will be an asset to counseling. Holistic approaches, cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, pain reprocessing therapy, emotional awareness and expression therapy, and other action oriented and somatic techniques may be used. I find a sense of humor helpful, too. Together we'll set goals and continue to evaluate and modify them so that your concerns are addressed.

You do not need to have a diagnosis to attend counseling. Some people choose therapy with the goal of self exploration or to address a specific life transition, or other reasons that are not out of medical necessity. You can opt out of using insurance. However, if you choose to use insurance, a diagnosis is required. There is no set time line for how long you might attend counseling. You and I will determine the time we meet for optimal outcomes and adjust accordingly. My therapy style is collaborative and action oriented. I value your input.
